FGS JOINS ASSONAVE

FGS strengthens its commitment to the Italian naval engineering industry

As of January 1st, 2026, Fluid Global Solutions becomes an Associate Member of ASSONAVE – Associazione Nazionale dell’Industria Navalmeccanica, the Italian Shipbuilding and Naval Engineering Association.

This membership is a natural step, fully aligned with FGS’s industrial and institutional path, which has long focused on the design, manufacturing, and supply of pumps and spare parts for the naval sector.

The decision to join ASSONAVE is driven by shared values and a common industrial vision: a strong commitment to manufacturing quality, the promotion of industrial culture, and the preservation of Italian know-how in an increasingly globalised market. These principles are also reflected in FGS’s long-standing involvement in Confindustria. In this context, FGS’s institutional engagement is further reinforced by the role of Alessandro Biggio, Founder and Managing Director of Fluid Global Solutions, who also serves as Vice President of Confindustria La Spezia, highlighting the company’s active participation in both local and national industrial ecosystems.

Founded in 1946, ASSONAVE has long been a key reference point for the Italian naval engineering industry, supporting growth and competitiveness across the sector—from major shipyards to highly specialised SMEs within the supply chain. This commitment is rooted in the concept of corporate heritage, understood as a technical, industrial and cultural asset to be preserved and continuously developed.

Within this framework, FGS’s membership in ASSONAVE further strengthens the company’s willingness to build strong industrial networks and actively contribute to the dialogue between companies, institutions and stakeholders in the naval sector.

Fluid Global Solutions proudly embraces this new membership and looks forward to making a meaningful contribution to ASSONAVE’s mission.
