Even amid global challenges, FGS has continued to grow and is now looking ahead to an important milestone: its 15th anniversary in 2026<\/strong>. Founder Alessandro Biggio<\/strong> shares the principles that have guided the company\u2019s journey.<\/p>\n

Internationalisation, sustainability, and reliability are the cornerstones of FGS\u2019s success, explains Biggio. Based in La Spezia, the company specialises in manufacturing and supplying spare parts, pumps, and electric motors, aiming for steady growth amid an increasingly uncertain global landscape.<\/p>\n

Certified ISO 9001 and ESG<\/strong>, FGS works closely with shipping companies, ship management firms, shipyards, and specialised operators across the maritime sector. Its core markets span the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including Singapore.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been a particularly intense year,\u201d says Biggio. \u201cOur strength lies in a lean organisational structure, highly skilled people, and high-quality products\u2014essential elements for a fast-moving business like ours. We are flexible, make quick decisions, and rely on technical expertise and practical solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n

FGS has consistently focused on protecting and expanding its market position. Continuous investment, diversification, and long-term partnerships have enabled the company to remain faithful to its values, while adapting to the demands of a global market.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur technical know-how has supported steady growth,\u201d Biggio adds. \u201cCustomer loyalty is built on trust\u2014earned through reliability, comprehensive service, and solid logistics. For us, sustainability goes beyond words; it is a concrete commitment reflected in actions that reduce environmental impact and strengthen social responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2024, FGS published its second voluntary sustainability report, aligned with international standards and ESG criteria. Looking ahead, FGS continues to strengthen its market positioning. A recent brand and logo refresh mirrors the company\u2019s evolution while remaining true to its identity. At the same time, FGS is investing in digitalisation and exploring Artificial Intelligence<\/strong> to enhance operations and customer service, always keeping people and technical expertise at the core.<\/p>\n
